Sun Myths, Vitamin D...What we know now.

November 06, 2008

Is the use of tanning salons as bad as the media makes it seem? Or is it actually beneficial to overall health? I think, with everything in life, moderation is key. The trick is not to burn, ever. While some populations are very limited in their sun exposure, others have an abundant source. I feel personal determinations would include whether or not you have adequate sunlight as a resource and whether or not you use it. Vitamin D has had a lot of press lately and unless you consume fortified sources on a daily basis then your levels may well be low. I have linked to an article that explores the use of tanning salons as a key to good health. I hope you take the time to read it. It is from a website that I read frequently, Natural News.
