Sun Myths, Vitamin D...What we know now.

Is the use of tanning salons as bad as the media makes it seem? Or is it actually beneficial to overall health? I think, with everything in life, moderation is key. The trick is not to burn, ever. While some populations are very limited in their sun exposure, others have an abundant source. I feel personal determinations would include whether or not you have adequate sunlight as a resource and whether or not you use it. Vitamin D has had a lot of press lately and unless you consume fortified sources on a daily basis then your levels may well be low.
